hi, how can i tie my lense cap to my camera without it coming undone all the time?

My cap as a looping string coming off it and no matter what I do it always comes away from the camera.

I have this problem also well sorta - for my 400D i always forget to pop it back on and think ffs where have i put that again! :D

I just habitually stuff it in the same pocket, maybe not the best idea given the amount of fluff in my pockets but I've not lost one yet :D

Funny you mention it, I have exactly the same problem - will look up the cap-keepers now... cheers for that OZ

EDIT: Sweet found a couple and ordered... nice one.

Their should be a metal loop somewhere on your camera to attach the lans cap to, pass the loop of string through it so that you have the lens cap on one side of the metal loop and the string on the other. Then pass the lens cap through the loop of string and pull it taught.

and its LENS not lense ;)

Technically, and though I find "lense" a bit annoying, it is indeed a correct spelling of a word describing " a transparent optical device used to converge or diverge transmitted light " and can be used as a valid synonym of lens.....
