Léon, (the professional) *Spoilers*

it's a really good film, sad ending though but it kept me hooked from start to finish, probably one of his best films, probably on par with Nikita even if he had a small and sad role in that film as well

Fantastic film.
I thought the uncut version was better.
Kind of rules out what could have been construed as innocent love between Reno to Portman though, which spoiled it imo.

i never knew there was anything cut, whats different with the uncut version?

Havent watched the uncut one in ages so really can't remember much, but you do see him taking her out on jobs. Like when you see her on the roof sniping the guy with the paint, in the uncut version she does more of that but with pistols up close and stuff.

No to a sequal
YES to a prequal.

couldn't give a rats about the girl tbh, it was basically her film the first one, would much rather see a prequal and a lot more about Leon himself doing previous hits, and he he became a hitman etc.

such as why is he a hitman, how did he get started, who trained him etc.

would be much better film imo.

Supposed to be an Italian Hitman, sounds French because of the actors native language, although with Spanish parents I guess he speaks Spanish too.

I have the NTSC R1 uncut version of this film, IIRC the "Pin Trick" with the grenade isn't in the original release.

Also, here to register for the Gary Oldman fan club.
