my guitar has broke :( bought a new one but was wondering if its possible to fix the old one for mates to use as a bass in Rock Band or something.

Made the mistake of using cheap poundland batteries which leaked, and one of the springs that make contact with the negative end of the batteries has vanished lol Ive cleaned up the leak but cant find the spring anywhere, its not fallen inside the body its just evaporated

is there anything I can use as a makeshift contact or anyway to run it from the mains?

cheers in advance :D

used to use kitkat wrappers when they went wrong xD
Do'nt know if they still use tinfoil tho :p

Alternatively just speak to the GH guys theyre normally quite good with replacements.
Think they ask you to confirm serial number and now send a piece of the broken item to them. If indeed one of the battery connectors has fell off they should replace it for ya :)

would be easy enough to make a replacment just pick up a battery holder from a local electronics shop and either pinch a spring and resolder to the guitar or solder two wires from the new casing onto the board then tape up the new casing to the back of the guitar. Not tidy but itll work.
