Lesbians discriminated against for being called lesbians

So is this just like the part where they say

Previous owners:

Young married couple
Young couple
old married couple
single parent of 2
family of 6

etc etc

?

What if people did not view the house because of it?

I think a bigger problem might have been if people did want to view the house, not because of the house, but because of the lesbians. I'm thinking of that scene in American Pie 2 I think it was.

The property reference was taking the mick, i think the couple were right in this case. If i was to sell my property and they used 'small chubby bloke' as the property reference i'd be very annoyed.

I'll admit to not knowing all that much about house adverts but I haven't seen any that specify who owned the house previously or not in such terms. I don't really see what difference it would make to any house purchase unless you were asking "is it suitable for a family" or similar and the estate agent might say "a couple with kids had it before" but even then it is largely unnecessary given you should be able to look at a house and decide if it is suitable for your needs.

As a general point just because you don't choose to tell someone of something personal doesn't automatically mean you are ashamed of it, it simply means you are choosing not to tell other people about it for whatever reason - possibly because it is none of their business.

not sure why they would even put lesbians anywhere in the advert.

when im writing up property details i dont put down who owns it now and what there sexuality is

edit: BUT there is no way that is discrimination

My property advert had "garage with straight roof" in description. Can I sue them for £5k retrospectively? :D

Yes but I doubt you would get any sort of settlement out of it.
