on me pc
at the moment i have a amd 3900x in some games my pc draws a lot of power and gets quite hot do you think i would be better off changing my processor to a amd 3600, would this make a difference?

haven't got any numbers eccept for the power meter, most of the heat does feel like it's coming from the graphics card (i have had the side of my case off and felt wear the heat is coming from with my hand):o.
I just thought changing my cpu might lower my power consumption.
