1000 chickens in one lorry? Do they not know the saying never carry all your eggs in one basket?

I watched a programme last year about the US mega-farms breeding pigs.

10,000 pigs to a barn. I kid ye not. Several of them burned down due to bad ventilation, methane fires, etc.

Freaking 10 thousand pigs in a barn all burned alive. Then the farmer says "Oh man, all that money I've lost. I guess I'll try again with a bigger barn and more pigs."

I was scratching my head at the gross stupidity of it.
