My current rig:

Epsilon 650W PSU
Intel Core 2 Duo E6700
Foxconn P9657AA Mobo
WD 320Gb Hard drive
Sony Optiarc DVD-ROM
SONY DVD-RAM
Creative XFI Extreme Audio
Leadtek Winfast P8800 GTX
6 GB Corsair XMS2 ram

Proposed rig:

Power supply - not sure on size (help needed)
i5 3750K
Gigabyte Z77X-UDH5
680 GTX - undecided (no particular preference, waiting for non reference cards even though I hear cooling on stocks are very good. True)?
Crucial M4 128 GB SSD
LG Blu Ray writer (The one everyone raves about)
8 GB Kingston Hyper Genesis Ram (compatible with Z77 series)?
1TB WD Caviar Green (for storage - transferred from old PC)
Asus soundcard - undecided (believe better drivers and actually produce superior sound quality over Creative cards)

Thoughts and opinions please. Ta.

Unless you are planning on putting EVERYTHING (apps, games etc) on the SSD I'd suggest a faster drive the the WD Green.

The 128GB drive is a fair bit of space..... I think you're better off with a 120GB SSD and a cheap mechanical than having a 60GB SSD and a better mechanical.

The RAM is compatible, everything else seems fine. That Gigabyte board is high end, and it might be going too far, the UDH3 is a similar board without the (I think unnecessary) ports, and slightly cut down power phases. The price difference is about 50 quid I think (of course I may have judged that wrong from early listings).

Your existing PSU will do fine. The 3570K isn't a high power part, nor is the 680. As far as I recall FSP Epsilon PSUs are decent.

You don't need to go as far as 650W then.

This is a decent PSU, and in the grand scheme of things a little bit underpriced relative to everything else. This is also a good choice, and if you don't mind spending a little more it has a longer warranty - although it doesn't have OCZ Powerswap.

If it helps Hardware Secrets have just reviewed the lower spec motherboard the UD3H. There's a great comparison table between the different Gigabyte models. The only thing of significance to me is the power, 12+2+1 vs 6+2+1. The other differences are audio which won't affect you, and a plethora of additional ports which I can't see many people needing.
