They seem very evasive in the FAQs, I wouldn't get my hopes up about it being any good. They can't even answer how many 'zombies' there are, not even a ballpark.
watched the zed video... have to say looked crap.
How do the weapons work? Is it only sound, or are there projectiles (eye safety?). If it's only sound then it seems daft as it's like playing 'toy guns' when you were 5 or 6. (going from the video).
Not trying to rain on the parade here, but the video just made it look crap. (and I like paintball/battlefield live/airsoft.)

A: Hi Ben,
Thanks for your question! The zombies have eye protection but shooting them in the head is not encouraged. Good torso shots are the most effective way to take down the zombies, we've heard

The weapons you use for this experience will be airsoft weapons, which look and work like the real thing and fire a small plastic projectile. You'll be trained how to use them by a team of police firearms specialists.

Doesnt mention how many zombies there are like. She just says "Many" which its best to take with a pinch I think...
Just realised there's one in Milton Keynes! Might give it a looksie!

A friend knows the guy that runs it (yeah I know how that sounds 
) and he says there are 30+ people using film style cosmetics as Zombies Vs up to 15 Survivors (you can book a session completely if you want with less people L4D style).

I'd imagine its just how many out of work actors they can round up that day
. Looks ok in the video with the added gun sounds etc, but I can see this being a big let down. Especially for that kind of money.
Yes. They have done it there for a while, guess they stopped a while back, and are starting up again. There are those airsoft balls everywhere near the entrance to Friar's walk (I park in Garrard Street everyday which is attached to Friar's Walk)
I used to work with the guy who runs that. Looks really good. He spend ages getting everything together to get the site. I really must arrange to go one of these days.

Suppose it depends on how they stage it.
If its a massive huge space 30 zombies, when there are 15 of you, would be pretty underwhelming.
But if its more enclosed spaces, smaller corridors, tight rooms etc and you are fighting in smaller groups 30 people coming at you would be pretty damn intimidating!
I'm not quite as excited as when I first saw it, would like more zombie numbers but would still be tempted to give it a try.

they're going to be doing more Zombie Games in the future. For reference, the Company is First And Only
The guy told me that this was deliberate, they want to ensure that players have very limited supplies of ammunition/weapons to make the event properly atmospheric. it's not a H&S concern for once XD
