Should have dropped Rooney and took both Carroll and Crouch.

Having Rooney for the last game, when we might be eliminated anyway, seems pointless. Should have risked something new.

You can't leave Rooney out, its too negative and will probably give a bad impression to the players and nation. They had to put him in and count on still being in the tourney with a game to go.

I really don't think adding someone else would have made a huge difference anyway.
