I have an xbox 360 and a Wii. Guess which one people want to play when they come visit me? Its the Wii.

My girlfriend loves Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii. I play with her online with Mario Kart Wii all the time, she is even getting a bit addicted to it. lol. But she still has never played on the 360.

I like playing on ALL platforms. I play on my PC, 360 and Wii. Also borrow my brother PS3 to play the PS3 exclusive title such as MGS4.

To the OP, you do know the Nintendo DS has been around nearly 4 years right? lol.

The only thing I can say is there should be more quality titles on the Wii such as Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart. It just seems to me games of such quality take 2-4 years to make, hence why you get lots of garbage which is made in like 1 years or less.

Somehow I can't see Nintendo moving away from their IPs, it's been twenty years now I doubt they'll start now :p

Obviously. There's no reason they can't add more IP's to their roster though.

Nintendo sold out! End of!

Don't be stupid, they made the perfect business decision. You're very deluded if you think any console manufacturer cares more about their fans than they do about their profits.

.

Like you said, profits! Why take the risk and cost of establishing a new IP(s) when you can stick with tried and true ones?

I for one, welcome our new Super Mario Tennis 5 and Super Mario Cooking overlords (well not really to be honest but I don't have a Wii anyway)

Wii sports did a lot for their profits. New IPs can most certainly drive more profits.

Besides the initial hype I've never really felt the urge to purchase the wii, and that's pretty unusual for me and games consoles.
