Lets see your advent calanders!

I do have an actual advent calendar. No rubbish chocolate for me though mine has see through doors and I stick it to my window. No point taking a picture now as its dark and you don't get the effect.

I tried to get my 2 and a half year old a non chocolate one (As we don't give him chocolate) and they are 4 times as expensive as the chocolate ones!

£6 for a gruffalo advent calender with 24 doors or £1.50 for a cars 2 one with chocolate. Madness.

So instead I've had to take the hit, buy the cars one and pre-open each door and fill it with various dried fruit, while taking one for the team and eating the chocolate :D

As you can see, Homer and I are bros

Lego Star Wars :D

Day 1

Well pleased :D

Oh and the tenants one is funny ;) (cold can of tenants a day wouldn't go a miss as you can't get it this far south)

tbh that's a good idea, I can remember advent calenders with just pictures behind them and chocolate ones, my parents never had chocolate ones, lets face it Christmas is another money making scheme.

I hope you will let your lad have a chocolate one day, tiny amount of chocolate.

Here's a picture of how ours will look come December 24th when it's complete...

Each of the little doors has a figure in it for the nativity scene on the top. Add in some sweets for the kids, boom, job done.

That is actually really good! Well pleased with that!

(note, I'm not Religious, but seriously, the kids must lap that up when they're a bit smaller, looks awesome!)

Where did that come from, that's awesome. Next year it would give me the alternative to fill the drawers with something more interesting :)
