Cold gin poured over ice is colder than warm gin poured over ice, isn't it?Once poured over Ice it doesn't make a difference. Bars don't store gin in fridges. Ice cools it.

Thats how I do it, tonic from the fridge, room temp gin and ice. I add frozen raspberrys to some ginsYou want your gin at room temperature so that it will take up flavour from your lime/lemon/whatever. Add the slice to the gin. Wait. Add lots of ice. Wait. Add tonic.

Nope, I put a few cans/bottles in the fridge the day before - so they are cold for the day of consumption.Surely you don't drink lager warm? That's just nasty
