Really strange flicking back through these and reading back at tech which seems like it was yesterday. Got ones talking about PhysX cards and a PCFormat magazine talking about when Crossfire first appeared, technology and time certainly has flown by!

Not got many PC Gamer magazines, but of the few I have these are my favourite covers! In one of them there is an article about how having too much RAM might not be good for your computer. Oldest I've got is from 2001... crazy to think that was 10 years a go!

PC Format mags, 05 to 08. Got all 06, 07 and a few 08 until my subscription finished.

Custom PC mags, 05 to 09.

Got a few PCW magazines, these might be my favourite of the computer mags I've read because I always found them them really informative and great value for money given they used to be massive compared to CPC & PCFormat. Haven't got many but can always remember walking down to the shop to get each of them and reading them while eating my lunch. :)

On the self. Got a few other mags on there as well, couple of Computer Shopper, and quite a few Focus mags, which I still buy when I remember to.

i bet pc format was popular!

i chucked out a load of old max power, revs etc mags when i moved out of my folks, some max powers going back to 1994. it was a hard decision and i did keep a few early performance vw but i figured that phase of my life had gone so they went in the recycling. i wish i'd have kept the early max power ones now for the memories.

wasn't there a weekly gaming mag that used to come out in the mid 90's called game x or something?

Off the top of my head my first PC magazine was PC Format June 1995, they featured the first virtual reality wedding...back when you had to stand on a platform in a big ring (as I remember it) with a huge big headset on.

i used to read a lot of magazines when i had my after school paper round and used to have to wait for the express and star to turn up. i remember reading a pc mag in (must've been 1995) and they had specced up what was in their opinion a 'ninja pc' what they considered to be the best and most powerful pc money could buy. it clocked up a price of nearly 2k and had a dx4/100 and a 2x speed cd drive! wish i'd have kept it purely for the specs and could compare it to today.

I threw out a pile of PCW and Computer Shoppers some time ago but there a volume of PCWs somewhere still in the house.

Should be every Custom PC and a collectors Fast Ford Cosworth and RS Turbo.

Your like my friend jamie he is mad about anything and everything ford.

He has a rs turbo, dont know which one i'm not that great on cars but its pretty sweet (when its not falling apart)

He may have the biggest collection of car and ford magazines in the world.

Had almost an entire subscription of official nintendo magazine back for the n64.... And the first 20 odd issues of official ps2 (back with demo disc of gt3 which got a lot of play time)

Threw them out as there's only so many times the release of the game cube looks cool... (though it did have good zelda guides)

Forgot how much half naked ladies were on pc format! (must have been why a mates dad had an 8 year subscription to it)

Pft who buys magazines anymore...
Kinda related, but mostly me just wanting to show off :D

In college i had to create a magazine for my Media coursework, so i chose paintballing. This is all original work, there are no stock graphics or stock images involved, even the model was brought into college for a photoshoot.

An afternoon in a very warm studio with some (albeit horsefaced) model was a pretty good waist of a couple of normal college lectures :D

Unfortunately no photos as I'm not at home for a while but I don't think I've thrown away a magazine in my life...:o

That, added to all the other magazines collected means if I lined them all up the line would probably be around 30 ft long!

Various magazines ranging from PC Gamer/PC Format, couple of Edge, Art of Fishing, War and around 100+ National Geographics from various sources.
