Nope, won't let me add PayPal as a payment method without credit card even if I have enough funds there to renew GP Ultimate for another 3 months.... This is retarded, I'm taking part in a promotion for 1 quid, not agreeing to pay for it for the rest of my life. I could just buy gift cards and pay later if I wanted to, why I need to set this all up before my 3 months subscription expires is beyond me.

They rely on people forgetting to stop the subscription. They also need the agreement in place with a solid backup forfunds, otherwise offers like these get severely abused. I work with similar sort of offers and without a proper setup people will just setup 100s of paypal accounts with just a pound in.
