Letting agents got sums wrong

Is this a one off charge? If so I've never heard of or seen a Letting agency fee, is there a breakdown of what the fees are for?

Seems a little scammy to me.

*Looks at location* yeah.... they're not allowed to do it up in the land of the civilized, unfortunately down here the standard appears to be £3-400 for one person and then another £100+ on top per additional

OP, you're not moving into a flat in Bath are you? :p

If I've understood correctly, they've signed the document before checking their fee was included in the costs? If that's right, just be as helpful in return. They do this **** everyday so they should not be missing basic stuff like that.

House in Watford. Watford housing market has soared in the last few years, it is getting as bad as London now :(

You both signed it to say you agreed the total, tell them to stick it.

Although in the real world if you want the place you're probably just going to have to suck it up and pay.

Makes me glad I moved to Devon. Lovely big 2 bed house with garden £550 per month :D
Fees were such an insignificant amount I can't even remember how much. Rolling contract with no yearly fees lol
