Levi's & Jeans

Yeh, while we all know that different cuts of denim will vary in quality, but still cost the same labour and may be pennies to make, the difference can be felt mostly.

I generally pay around £30 for a pair of jeans at the moment, I'm going to get another pair of Jack & Jones because they fit me really well and they've got some good lines in at the moment. H&M, Burton and River Island jeans are all of reasonable quality but I haven't found the nicest fit yet.

I think a trip to Meadowhall is in order to get some new clothes, and replace some of the old stuff that doesn't fit me well anymore.

I've owned £150+ jeans and £8 jobbies, they've all lasted as well as each other, jeans in general are pretty hard wearing and as long as the stitching is fine they will last for years what ever the cost, end of the day your paying for the name and the cut on the more expensive ones.

So it was exactly the same cut, wash, material etc? Wow, you obviously got a bargain...

Your missing the point why pay £XXX amount when you could get somthing thats practically the same for £XX / £X amount the fact that people come up with these foolish arguements that well the styles slightly different or the materials softer (Tbh why would you want a softer material with jeans in my experience the softer the material the easier to damage) or the colour is not precicly the same (the blue is slightly lighter Oh noes!).

Either way they're gonna look basically the same when you wear them I can't really tell the difference between the jeans unless I'm looking at them from very close range and I doubt people would notice the difference unless they were looking very closely at my lower body(Girls feel free to do this, Blokes do you really want me to pound your head in?.... No? then don't!).

It seems pointless to me to pay that much for the privelidge of advertising the designer when they should be paying me and what really grinds my gears is the fact it's the same with any other ****** item of cloathing!

If you can find some jeans for £10 that look the same as some of my Diesels, G-Stars etc then please let me know where, and I'm not talking simply about the label on the back.

Not precisly the same they may also be missing the woofy pattern on the back pockets Plus they're from *** And Proud and as such are more expesive than the jeans I tend to go for but their still cheaper than your diesels (and don't say you'd pay for the woofy pattern on the pocket thats seriously Foolish for a small bit of stitching)

The Diesel's arent modelled on anyone, but would most likely fit a lot better as the M&S jeans appear to fit horribly. In terms of cuts, washes, and back pocket variety, its hard to beat Diesels: http://store.diesel.com/searchResult/gender/U/toll/0/tskay/B84CE7A2/c/cat_136/areaid/7/layoutType/1

I've never found that with M&S Jeans but then again I'm not as fussy about the cut of the jeans if they fit horribly in one size i try the next one it makes no real difference. However when it comes to colour wash I don't really give 2 ***** Jeans were designed as hard wearing cloathing not fashionable although they seem to be

They all look they same to me tbh, I don't think I've ever worn a pair of jeans and thought, 'oh dear the cut of these jeans make them feel uncomfortable', end of the day though if people want to waste their money on this kind of stuff then it's their prerogative, I nearly spent quarter of a grand on a pair of antique tea cup and saucer's circa 1800's the other day to enjoy my tea in :o, many people would think that is foolish when you can buy a cup and saucer from Tesco for a couple of quid, what ever makes you happy at the end of the day.

Finally someone who agrees:p

I guess it all boils down to hedonism then, some people like feeling priveleged, wearing nice clothes, driving a nice car and taking pleasure in doing so. But for some it's fine to save money, wear cheaper jeans and riding the bus.

I'm happy to spend £50-60 on some Levi's as they tend to fit me the best and I get a lot of wear out of them, but would be loath to spend much more than £60 no matter how nice a pair of jeans were.
