Its a nice build, but essentially, not much different to hot rod chassis' that the yanks have been building for many years. I have seen way more complex, lighter and more efficient scratch builds on other kit car forums, however, I have big respect for ANYONE who attempts a project like this.

Awesome, not only does he have great skills, he binned the majority of the bad parts of the beetle (ie most of it)

I didn't hold out too much hope after seeing the body propped up in the first couple of pics but that is actually very impressive.
