Wow! How is this 8yr old TV sting still getting software updates? Just got one this week...

Would love to know what it was for...

Possibly some certificate/encryption updates? Sony released an update for the PS3 in March this year, was to update encryption keys.

It's mostly security patches this far in. Though I think the one you've just had is for minor software improvements.

Thanks... The fact this 8yr old TV is still getting "8 improvements to minor software-related issues" impresses me at least
