Then best to get yourself an X-rite i1 Display Pro (or another calibration package) and calibrate it fairly simply using the bundled software - i1 Profiler or the better but more involved DisplayCAL.

I've got the LG 32GP850-B 32" and have calibrated it and it looks great, near perfect monitor for my mixed usage.
