I think we'll only know for certain once the figure appears on the LG UK website or on other retailer listings... I know it's $1,299 USD and 1,299 EUR... so £1,299 GBP would seem a bit high - wouldn't surprise me though.
At that price it is unlikely to be worth it over the 34GN850-B which I've had for a month now and paid £744 for.

What worries me is the lack of reviews. Apart from some Korean ones there are only a few in English. This one seems to think it's not worth the money: https://www.displayninja.com/lg-34gp950g-review/
I suspect that LG is blocking a lot of critical reviews or pushing for at least a neutral report, such as the RTINGS one: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/34gp950g-b

Seems to be the best 34" UW you can get atm, and tbf a lot of people will pay for that. Expect these to be backlogged just like the 27GP950 tbh!

And it's in stock too, which probably tells you that it's really not worth it at that price. I'm so happy with my 34GN850-B which I got for about £700, so this one would have to come down to below £1000 before it makes any logical sense.

Yeah you're right, personally I'm not sure £500+ is not worth the extra over the 34GN850-B for some extra HDR and the GSync module.
