Well, I had Z35 for quite a while and it streaks any dark colours like crazy, with any overdrive or frequency. I hardly see how you can ignore it unless you never show moving dark colour on screen - which main point of having good-black VA panel.

Average response time as single number is rather meaningless - because you care about *all* transitions being good, not having display showing grey colour only all the time.

I've seen plenty of high refresh monitors and Z35 simply does not have motion clarity that proper high refresh panel should, its looks just like overclocked 60Hz panel (and pretty blurry one at that).

First impact with xz35 at 144hz OD normal was not good, at fastest overdrive the passage of black smearing are not often displayed and at this point it's still faster than Lg34uc79g if you rise luminance at 60 and black tuner to maximum it doesn't blur like default. I feel it very good i had problems in only very small parts of maps in ut4 or doom, the other case in 90% of the games or maps is almoust perfect Also input lag is very low, I mean z35 is not good for People Who play with low budget GPU or very dark games like Alien isolation or Resident evil.
 
Sorry to hijack this thread but does anyone know if LG are shipping monitors with new firmware (or if they intend to ever ship with new firmware) ?
