LG 34UC89G-B 21:9 UltraWide® Full HD IPS Curved LED Gaming Monitor with G-SYNC

Anyone got one of these yet? How does 1080p look over 34"?

I don't have this exact monitor, but I do have an LG 1080P 34" monitor, and in all honesty, the low resolution is probably the one thing that bothers me the most about it. Especially these days when nearly all laptops, tablets and phones have super sharp screens, and even TVs with their 4K, it really grates to see the pixelation that results from a screen that just scrapes past the 80 DPI mark; although I will say that for watching video it's not so much of a problem, and possibly games too (depends how close you sit). On the desktop though, its not exactly amazing.

Interesting, thanks!

I've had, for the last 3 years, a 32" 1440p monitor. At 91ppi I've found it more than sharp enough. I've just tested out a 24" 1080p monitor (Samsung 24FG73), 91ppi again, and for some reason it feels fuzzy. It's too small anyway so I'm going to return it along with its dead pixel and BLB.

You're right though, 81ppi does sound low, but until it's in my possession I'd hard to quantify what it's like.

Perhaps I should just buy 27" 1440p and forget about UW.
