Evening,

I am looking to purchase a new TV in the next week or so. I am looking for a 37" as I think 42" will be a bit too bit for my lounge and 32" is a bit small.

The TV will be powered by my HP SFF HTPC running W7 media centre with an NVidia GPU outputing on HDMI 1080p native. I do watch BluRay ISOs in 1080p but normal usage is DVB-T (Freeview)

I have my eye on the LG 37LE5300:

Richersounds currently have this for £499.99 or £549.94 with a 5 year guarantee

Good choice or is there a better TV for the money (1080p, edge LED, 28mm thick, 1080p). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Matthew

cheers gents, I have a couple to look at in the flesh but I am swaying towards this one.

I have a similar thread running on PH and a number of members have also come back with good comments.

I'd go have a listen to it. I've got a 37" LG and whilst i like the picture the sound is terrible (have to put the volume up to 50% and when it's loud enough to hear voices etc it's then too loud for explosions and whole telly vibrates!), currently looking for a soundbar of some description.
