That's true, but I would not expect the higher PPI to mean a 42"
just thought - it maybe sharing the ppi/pixel-design with the 83" 8k oled ... need to do the maths - if the 8K has a flaw thy make 3 42's
That's true, but I would not expect the higher PPI to mean a 42"
Bet it'll be the same as the CX, 42 costing more than a 55.
I'm hoping this will fit in the very cramped TV space that I have. I'm not replacing my current telly right now though, as I don't watch that much telly these days & I'm waiting for the old one to go pop.
You’ve just jinxed yourself! Unless that was your aim all along!
rumour is 1200 for the 42. Think that’s a bit over what I’d want to ideally pay but it’s still rather tempting
No 42” TV has been announced, LG display don’t just make panels for TV’s they make 31.5” panels too but that doesn’t mean we are getting a TV in that size.
42” is more likely to be a monitor.
Will the g1 be better than the cx ? Thanks
Designation of an oled panel as a monitor would seem to make any warranties related to burn-in more problematic, since a monitor could legitimately/predominately be used for static images;
the $$$ 31.5" panel is JOLED , no ? whatever that is, maybe they have different ageing characteristics.
TV aerialI could buy a 55" & hang it on the adjacent wall. The problem would then be getting a TV aerial lead to it.
