LG G3 blue screen of death

well it happened to mine today, fortunately I only have 6 weeks until my contract is due to run out so I may as well do an early upgrade.

anybody else ever have one of these where the LG screen would pop up and then the screen would just go blue like the OCUK background and then black and totally unresponsive to anything?

done a bit of searching and apparently it's a common fault, the motherboard dies and the only solution is a new one. hunting ebay for "faulty" G3's then I'll replace it, fortunately I've upgraded to a G5 so I'm not in any rush atm.

Since you've already upgraded why not just sell it as spares or repairs?

Contact your contract provider most phones come with 24 months warranty these days IIRC.
