Just been on a long winded chat with Vodafone after they confirmed I could upgrade.

Time to retire my trusty Samsung Galaxy Note 4, a Handset that I have enjoyed over the time of ownership but it feels a bit tired in certain aspects.

I have been offered the
LG G5 Titan with no upfront cost
2 months free
Monthly discount on the bills £22.20p/m rather than £37
5gb data, unlimited calls and texts

Surely not too shabby a deal?

I know some have issues with the Handsets build quality, but it can't be all that bad surely?

£22 per month is good deal

The handset isn't perfect, the 'modular' connection at the bottom is very poorly implemented and doesn't fit snugly. I'm worried that if i sit down at a funny angle, with the phone in my pocket, it might snap off!

Otherwise the wide angle camera is great. The primary camera is worse than my old G4 (:(). Screen is good, blacks are very good for an LCD. Battery life is equal to my old G4. Fingerprint scanner is ok, I've no experience with other phones but i get a few unregistered scans.

For £22 I'd definitely go for it.

I only enquired re LG G5 unfortunately, but I guess it would have been considerably more for the S7, it appears on the Vodafone site the HTC 10 isn't available?

I got the deal after 45mins of Webchat being passed between Sales and a dedicated Upgrades and Disconnections team, it was the latter that did this deal for me. Originally it was only meant to be the first month free, but I requested it be 2, don't ask don't get :p

Here and all setup, working well. Did have to register my Sim for upgrade due to Micro Sim to Nano Sim. Easy sorted via live chat.

I thought it would have felt a drastic change stepping down 0.4" Display size, but it's fine :)

Just need a Case now :p

I love my G5, didn't think I would really appreciate the two rear cameras, but at times they are a godsend. I also like the fact that it charges within 25 minutes on fast charge, only gripes are the screen brightness and the build quality colud have been better where the battery inserts.

I do feel some sharp/rough edges on the lower front of mine. But now it is placed within a TPU Gel Case, it is much better to the touch.

Sure is a brilliant Handset thus far. Quick, responsive, Streets ahead of the Note 4 it has replaced. the G5 seems to be more economical on the Battery.

I do find IPS Displays better than AMOLED.

Well anyway for £22.20 a month even the usage alone is a bargain, feels like Vodafone were giving it away :D
