LG OLED55B42LA

I've seen the LGOLED55B42LA (2024) on sale to clear for £579. Had my eye on it for about a year. Currently have a 15 year old Panasonic plasma that's starting to get a bit past it.

I'm not fussed about the onboard software etc as I use a Fire Stick.

Any reason not to go for it? Would it work with my old Panasonic ARC subwoofer and soundbar or should I get the LG one to go with it?

I would say go for it and yes the ARC subwoofer should still work just fine unless you fancy and upgrade.

That Plasma has served you well.

Yes - the old plasma served me really well! Glad to hear the ARC soundbar will work OK - not super fussed about surround sound.
