My LG wireless subwoofer (S33A1-D) made a large bang and smoke started to come out of the unit so I quickly unplugged and waited a while for it to stop, when I reconnected it the bass is very weak and the sound is crackly.
I have stopped using it since the incident due to the possibility it might burn the house down . My question is can I use a different LG subwoofer model that was not specific to my LG soundbar (NB3530A)? will this work? Or even better can I use a different manufacture as long as its a wireless sub? I just don't want to throw out the soundbar as it still works fine.
