LG Viewty Memory Issue

I have the LG viewty.....top phone IMO

Question about the memory. I am under the impression that the phone will only read 2gb of memory, so if you put in a 4gb card it will only recognize 2gb.

Read on another post here it will see upto 8gb card and then with a firmware update see and read 16gb.

Can anyone put me right on this please.

I got a viewty a few days ago...fantastic phone!!!!

the trick if you are using a card above 2 gig is to format it in windows then put it in the phone...dont use the phone to format it.

Sorry I can't help but I just wanted to say, I am going into town to view this phone and hopefully if I like it order it as an upgrade this afternoon

Found some wicked forums with links to apps and games and stuff for it. Sounds like you can get more out of it than the iPhone

I think I will stick to 2Gb to start with and then hopefully more firmware will come available to use larger cards.

just like to say that the second one has links to videos called: "Wife peeing whilst fisting herself", might wanna remove it lol.

Definatly gonna get some of them gemma atkinson wallpapers though on the first one for the phone

Can't wait to get my Viewty.

Was supposed to be coming on Saturday but got an email from 3 saying:

"Due to an ongoing delay in recieving stock from the manufacturer, we won't be able to deliver your order on your requested delivery date.
We're expecting that it could be up to another 1 week (13/12) before delivery."

And thats after waiting 2 weeks from when I placed my order.
