LG2363D

Can someone who has the LG2363D help me out with mine, I bought it about 3 months ago but I am starting to think I may have a secondhand/faulty monitor. Everyone is saying how great it is but I am starting to see strange backlighting issues which are very distracting.

It is hard to explain but it is like there are verticle lines going down the screen spaced about 2 to 3 inches apart that make that area of the screen darker.

change the dvi cable if you can, sounds like youve got a bad feed. If that doesnt work i have no idea/ i think its broken. Phone LG customer suport and ask them, Good luck, im loving this monitor 100%, cant fault it. (the little light show is getting on my nerves whenever i start it up, but other than that its cool) Hope you get it fixed.

its actaully running through hdmi to my xbox. I will try using a different hdmi cable. Another question about the monitor does it have a slight grainyness to it. I am told its the anti glaire coating but i just wanted to know if you cud notice it.

Prior to LG purchase had a good look over ASUS 120hz Monitor offering at my local high street store, and had the price been sub £180.00 might well have been tempted as I dont mind gloss screens. VG236HE overall build quality just seems tad more sturdy, however 23" TN panel with an asking price of £290.00, are ASUS having a laugh...

Could well be faulty. :(

I've found the anti glare coating to be no more harsh than my former Samsung T220.

Well turn the light show 'off', not hard to do. :)

Just a quick question, does anyone know what LG's dead pixel policy is like these days?

Just curiosity more then anything, I assume OCUK and other retailers are all pretty similar also?
