** LIAN-LI O11 DYNAMIC MINI NOW AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER **

That Corsair SF600 is platinum rated. Im sure it would handle it just fine

For what its worth, for about a month and a half, I ran a Seasonic S12II 620W Bronze with an overclocked 3600x and an overclocked 3080 - no issues whatsoever, even when stress testing both simultaneously. That said, I'm sure the PSU didn't like being throttled to an inch of its life as the fan was screaming!

lol and that's a bronze model. That tells you right there the platinum model would be total fine

Got a SF750 and only got 2 PCI-E 8 pins with it but my 3080 requires 3 8 Pin connections! Such an oversight on my part, but now I need to source an 8 Pin corsair cable from somewhere. Also.. that means I won't be able to stick 2 8 pin connectors for CPU. But 1 8-Pin will be fine for CPU right..

@danq CPU only needs 8 pin anyway... it’s an extra 4 pin (not another 8 pin) you can add, but that’s only for extreme LN2 overclocking. You don’t need it.

If your GPU needs 3x 8pins then just use the splitter PCI-E on one of the cables? Not a problem.

Edit: I’ve just checked the SF750 and it has 4x 8 pins anyway? So 1 for CPU and 3 for GPU...

Ahh okay that's good to know. I definitely won't be doing any of that lol

I don't know about the splitter. My PSU came with 2 6+2 and 2 CPU connectors. So are you saying connect 1 6+2 to the GPU direct and connect the other 6+2 to a splitter? I also have sleeved extensions for all my cables which is another issue!

ahh right, so the connectors on the PSU are fine. I just need to find another cable for the GPU power then

No so if you read the connectors, one should say EPS or CPU, this is for your CPU... you only have 1 of these cables.

Then you’ll have 2 other cables that should say PCIe on them. Both of those have an extra 8 pin on them (so 2x 8 pins per cable, effectively giving you 4x 8 pins).

So plug both of those in and you’ve got the 3x 8 pins you need for GPU.

Here’s my new 011 mini , first time doing watercooling , going for 2 x 360 rads but not got a gpu yet so yeah only one installed for now, probably going to switch to hard tubing once I have the gpu , although I think the black tubes look good also :)

If you check those photos i linked earlier, that spaghetti mess of cables in the GPU is 2 PCI cables 8+8+8 but i'm using the extra connections on one of them. Its hooked up to a SF750.

CPU has 2 PCI cables powering it too :)

Build is looking sweet @Westie1986 :D

Mate.. I didn't even see the extra 8 pin on the PCI-E cables, haha thanks!

I ordered on 30 Dec got on 14 Jan.. maybe pop a post in the customers services section to see when you are likely to receive yours

Still no news or pre-order for the official vertical mounts for these cases yet ?

I'm waiting on it too.. I've got a 3080 GameRock that needs to be on show! What have you used?

I saw it was released in the USA earlier this month, but heard nothing about UK

I used EZDIY-FAB Vertical Graphics Card Holder Bracket, got it from the rainforest fairly cheap with a PCI-e 3 riser cable, I already had the PCI-e 4 riser cable so just swapped them over, im using the Linkup one from the rainforest too, wasnt cheap though.

The vertical mount though pushes the GPU slightly back into the case, so I still want the official one.

I want to use the official vertical mount as it looks to lift the card up enough to leave the bottom modular section clear, and I want to get a radiator in under it. I’ve got a phanteks one that fits a normal case if you cut the bars out between the slots, but I don’t think it will be much use to me in this case.

What are the thermals like with the vertical mount if the card is just on air?

That's a 6800 I have there, I've got it overclocked to 2400mhz on the core and 2100mhz on the memory with an undervolt down to 950mv, I've never seen it go over 65/70o which is well within the safe zone, I have a 360mm radiator with 3 fans blowing straight up over the card too which helps.
