PhillyDee: I'm thinking about getting the same CPU cooler. People rave about it, and I know it will fit. But is it worth the hassle, just how much of a nightmare was it to get in?

Its was a pain in the arse. I took the fan out so I could get the tray back in. And I would say yes, it IS worth the hassle :D. It keeps your CPU nice and cool.

I guess it'll make more sense when I get my hands on the actual cooler. It doesn't look like the fan potrudes past the actual heatsink, but it's maybe just me not seeing it.

Here's how mine is looking so far. I've posted thumbs because I can't remember how to change the resolution on my camera.. or the time and date. :o

Corsair HX520
Gigabyte P35-DS3R
C2D E8200
4GB OCZ PC-8500 Reaper HPC Edition
PNY 8800 GT 512mb
Caviar SE16 640GB WD6400AAKS

Planning another WD6400AAKS and debating which soundcard to get.

It looks like the tuniq will fit on my board, but has anyone tried? I don't mean to sound too lazy, but it would save me getting all neurotic about measuring things and getting it wrong.

Looks to me as though it will fit fine. And the fan protrudes out the bottom of the Heatsink, not the top. Its the swing of the motherboard tray that makes it a bit iffy.

PhillyDee - just got this case yesterday and was looking at making a fan bracket for a second fan at the front. You mentioned earlier that you were going to try and make a fan bracket from aluminium - do you have any pictures of the results that i can copy! :)

Heh. i got half way then decided to bungee it on . . . . Due to the way the front mesh grilles fit it would be a problem so it would need the case modded too.

Cheerz, I contemplated a bungee too, but in the end I couldnt wait and used some metal brackets we had lying around. The mesh fronts were a pain, but nothing a bit of brute force (unfortunately accompanied by a fair number of internal scratches, but they won't show!) couldnt fix! I would probably advise anyone else to take the bungee route though... :-)
