has anyone bought the Lian-Li PC V1000 PLUS Link from OC and if so, did they get delivered the plus II version

i cannot find the plus II anywhere, and this is the case i want.

i have noticed a few people talking about buying or have bought the plus II version, did you get it from OC?

cheers guys, so if i order from OC i am likely to get the plus II, as only one listed is the plus

which that is out of stock :(

btw what's the case like for cable management and hiding cables around
the back? .

any 1 got any nice images of there set-up? with good cable management

As we're not allowed to discuss the OcUK store or OcUK competitors, what I shall say is very general. Many (r)etailers source stock from several sources and buy from the cheapest source when they need to restock. These (r)etailers have to state the lowest/earliest model they could have in stock as they simply don't know what model they will have from one week to the next. This does allow them to be a bit cheaper, but you don't always get the latest product. If you feel you really want a Plus II I would suggest you source one from a (r)etailer that is prepared to guarantee that it is a Plus II and not just a Plus, otherwise you run the risk of getting the wrong one.

At OcUK? There are several on-line retailers that are definitely selling the Plus II and will confirm it in writing. I would also say that I have not seen a post from anyone buying a V-series case from OcUK who has not got the Plus II version since before Christmas. I just have a bee in my bonnet about companies that expect you to take whatever they supply, no questions asked.

If it was me, I would actually rather have a Plus than a Plus II as the extra fan does very little and the side window kit has a grille in it, just over the graphics cards, right where you don't want it. I also think the BS-01 blower fan is a superior peice of kit to the new 'Patent Cooling' system.

i have searched and searched and contacted many uk retailers, and they either do not have it in stock or cannot guarantee it, and i agree with you that i should have the choice in what i get, but that is the reason why i have not ordered from anyone yet, as i have yet to find anyone who can gurantee it...

It works 2 ways - in one way it hides your contact details from the search engine spiders and it also allows an ebay like feedback system on Member's Market.
