Lian-Li PC V1000 PLUS II?

You can easily fit a water cooled rig in the v1000+.

Depending on what you want to put in it the v2000+ does not off much more in the way of useful space.

Yeah i got this one from OcUk. I have not had a +1 v1000 before, but i think the differences are just that it has an additional 120mm side fan and some more ducting?

Either way i am pretty impressed, not sure yet if i will go the watercooling way as they can be pretty noisy themselves yeah?

Will prob just tidy the case up inside and may add the illuminated cd tray mod that is somewhere else on this site, looked pretty cool.

Water cooling can go either way yes, extreme cooling or silence, not both at the same time.

The +II as you say replaces the blower fan with a new fan assembly.

Well as you can imagine after my Xaser its pretty quiet! even the x1900xt is quiet (iceq3).

Yewen, the cpu connecter on the tra3, did you connect it at all?

The probes just go into the fins of the heatsink.

I did not plug the CPU fan in, I ran it of the motherboard for cool and quiet.

Run some other fan of it though! Stick the SLI blower one on it if its a 3pin fan. :)

I normally get most of my posting done from 11:00 till 4am on OcUK, 4:00 till 4:30 on the other three I post on. :)

Everyday almost so nothing unusual for me!

Glad you like the case though, they really are something in person, and you will feel the same about it in 6 months time aswell, after a year I still love my v1000+ just as much!

yeah like you say the quality gets me, nice to have a case the right size aswell, had enough of huge towering beasts!

Pretty mad times to post, guess you don't like sleep much! i only post on an eve corp forum bar this one ;)

Its a good sized case, very well built, good for showing dust aswell as the vents don't have a dust problem which surprised me!

From a Xaser its a huge leap, but people don't get what I say about build quality until they try one of the cases for themselves, it really does make a difference!

Only because I consider them to make the best few cases available at the most common budgets. :)

You also can not go wrong recommending someone to buy a nice solid case, something that is down to personal opinion is very hard to base a recommendation on, why I usually avoid mentioning the look of cases and try to speak in facts.

When I mention the aesthetics of the case I usually stick "In my opinion" before it, just to differentiate between the fact and more personal comments on a case.

The prime example of this is my view on the S80, best case ever but I would struggle to recommend it to anyone, its priced to highly for what it is to most people, but if you want one why have you not got one yet, it is that good, and that expensive for what it offers that the other options for the majority of people for less money are far superior options.

S80 = Think your v1000+II build quality and attention to detail, doubled. :D

wow that has got to be one good case then! Nearly went down the road of the Silverstone TJ07, but fell in love with the v1000, price was just a bonus for me.

So what do you do for work?

Come on watercool it, I say this because I am after one of these cases and could do with some ideas because I want to watercool mine if I ever get it that is, never watercooled before... but how hard could it be !! :D
