The top fan extracts by default but I've set it to 5V and it doesn't seem to be doing a lot. The PSU is turned away from the HSF so isn't contributing to the airflow and I'd be a bit worried about not having any air forced towards the HSF. I might give it a try though the next time I have the case open. I'm about to order some more RAM for it so it could be this weekend.

i got the case today and found that PowerColor ATI Radeon X1950 Pro Extreme SILENT Heatpipe which i was recommended to get does not allow the the top fan to fit in the case :(

OK - The fan can go in 4 ways;

Inside the cage
-blowing in
-blowing out

Outside the cage
-blowing in
-blowing out

If your fan is mounted outside the cage then put it inside the cage - otherwise your graphics card must actually sit well above the line of the rear expansion slots, which means that graphics card is not compatible with any Lian Li II series case that uses the Patent Cooling Fan. I really doubt that is the case.

That card has the huge Arctic Cooling Accelero cooler fitted and it sticks up a loooong way.

Very unusual of AC to make something that exceeds the ISO specified parts sizes. Oh dear!

tried again today just can't seem to get the mount holes to align with the case as the cage keeps hitting the ATI cooler ?

Try it for 24 hours without the upper fan. It may not make any diffeence. If it does then you'll need to return the card I guess.

Well, up until this morning I would've said any card would fit, so, no - not really. And I'm not doing well this week at all. First we had the kerfuffle over CoolAnswer III's in the Akasa Eclipse (they've completely changed them) and now AC have made a graphics card cooler that doesn't fit in a standard sized case. AAAAArrrrrrgh!

Look at the piccies of the cards. Anything where the heatsink doesn't extend above the top of the mounting bracket should fit e.g. the HIS and Sapphire X1950Pro's.
