Well had a disaster today, I removed the side panel to do some stuff in my case, I have done this hundreds of times with out issue until to day, when I put it back in position i put the roof back on as normal and then i could hear a creaking sound and this happened in front of my eyes

I have managed to remove it in almost one piece but now I need a new side panel, anyone know if I can get a replacement

its good to see it doesnt shatter all over the place
you can buy replacement side panels
have seen ones without the black border before
not sure what uk retailers will have one though as think
the ones i saw were somewhere in europe

I managed to remove it by sticking cello tape all over it and it came out all most in one piece so managed to avoid all the glass getting everywhere but there was still minute pieces of glass on my desk which i found in my hands (the blood gave it away lol) so if it does happen be aware. Really weird thing as it was making a cracking noise for a good 10 minutes till i got it off the case. Its in a blanket now ready to go in the bin lol
 
update for those who may be interested.....managed to source a replacement from a well known online store from China. Cost me £47 inc delivery, the actual cost of the panel was £14. Estimated delivery is 15 days ;)
 
There's the normal one
With the black border and seen one with no black border
Even the one with the border
If you have a led strip in the bottom the borders not wide enough
I used vinyl to widen mine to stop being dazzled
By the leds
The no border looks good if no led strips
Guess you'll find out in couple weeks lol
 
an update for those who may be interested, having contacted Byron@lian-li via email I have now got a replacement side panel which arrived today, so all is good. ;)

I had to cancel the original order from the online store after they informed me they had run out of stock

warranty ran out in April...so paid £42 including delivery which to be honest is well worth it. At least I can sell the case on now as I bought a thermaltake view 51 because I did not know if I was going to get anything sorted but as it happens there was no worries.

I am loving the new case btw...it looks awesome
