Just came across this privacy aware FOSS speed test, which claims 'No Flash, no Java, no websocket, no bull'. I have Virgin Media 1Gig and while connected to Mullvad VPN using WireGuard it's giving me this:

results

An iperf3 test concurs with the results. It's a nice, fast little tester with no ads or bloat; so I thought some of you may find this handy. While I did search for a more relevant thread to drop it into, I got 25 non-specific pages of results discussing speed tests on various ISPs and such, so I just made this one.

Doesn't seem accurate to me. I got 67.3Mbps, which is higher than my sync speed (I usually get about 62).

Could be caching? Some antivirus are notorious for this (assuming you're on Windows). It's been pretty much bang on accurate for me using Firefox 81 on Fedora 32.
