There's normally a charge for having the points removed however I'm pretty sure that if you just do a change of address (which is free) then your licence will come back clean and shiny with no record of your expired points anyway.

I don't know what a change of address entails on the new licences. I've still got an old paper one where a change of address means they used to have to print you a new one and they just wouldn't bother putting the expired convictions on it.

just make sure you dont get pulled for anything in the mean time, its actually an offence not to have the right address on the licence too
but yes, in agreeance with everyone else if you send it off free of charge to get the address changed, then they dont put the points back on if they have expired so its a winner
Me too... I've moved three times since my last licence, and got a speeding ticket four years ago... Been meaning to get it swapped to my new address.. Been at the current address for two years..
My sister is the same, as is my gf. Not had the licence updated to the new addresses.
I would agree, i know a few people that never got touched for it, but i do know one person that got snotty with a Police Officer after he had been pulled for blatent speeding, and when he presented the licence they nicked him for the licence too, probably because he couldnt keep his mouth shut and behave
