My wife has been selling a load of our dog’s coats on eBay and started moaning about a difficult buyer. They’d asked about a couple of sold coats and had messaged her to ask if she had any more tartan pattern ones.

She turned to me, and said the magic words...

”I am not a shop”

Does this mean she gets perma’d?

what is your dog's coats?

Selling dog's pelts is acceptable in the UK now? Is real fur back,? I knew keeping my late mother's mink coat was a financially sound move, fashion is but a circle ;). I am looking at a newly moulted dog in fine coat condition and a Stanley knife, and he's edgy ...

Why do you have more than one dog coat (ok, you might have two or three if you had it from a puppy and it grew out of it).

How many dog coats are we talking here?

Did it have a different one for different events it went to?

I'm the comma question mark and the salubrious mink coat reference.

I am in this picture and I don't like it.

I really hope they have a little doggy wardrobe to put them all in

Too many. Life took a turn when I had to give our dog the “well if you’re not going to wear them perhaps we’ll give them to another dog who will” speech.

He has a clothes rail, we’re not savages.

You jest, but clothing made of dog hair can be bought. Ethically harvested from breeds that grow new fur regularly and made into wool. Sort of like sheep-shearing.

For example, https://knityourdog.com/

When I was a boy, the family dog was a cold weather breed that grows a much heavier coat in the winter and sheds it in the spring. In the wild they'd rub along bushes and suchlike, but ours went to a dog groomer. I can easily understand how it could have been made into wool using the same process as turning a sheep fleece into wool.
