Does this get less angsty after episode 1?

I tried this because I really enjoyed Remember Me, but episode 1 just felt a little too tween for me.

I had to do it, the lack of 21:9 support was the only deal breaker. I will not play a game that has pillowboxes, no matter how good. There are WSGF fixes to allow it to span the entire 21:9 but they come with annoying caveats making the experience less than stellar.

I will look at the game again once 21:9 is officially supported, otherwise my money will go elsewhere.
 
I was a little surprised in ep 4....

Given the nature of Kates depression and her ultimate demise, wasn't it a bit weird that people were just idly (Max included) allowing a passed out girl to lay unattended on the couch?

Max comments on it if I remember. It shows the state of Blackwell really and how absurd the Vortex Club is.
 
In Ep3 there's a pert in the diner where you're meant to talk to Frank, the Cop and Prescott in some sort of order but I can't seem to figure out which. Every time I knock over Franks food/drink it just goes to the rewind screen. Anyone know what to do here?

I just can't get into this. I played most of episode 1 on release and have tried to get into it a few times since but just can't sadly, I don't know what it is.
 
Really enjoying this game, I'll admit I got a copy off the seven seas to see how it was but just purchased the entire pack because I really enjoy it so far and I'd like to see more from these guys.
Only thing I hate is redoing conversations and not being able to force skip anything at all, just spent the last 20mins going through something I already have after the game showed the saving icon yesterday :|

Possibly the fact that you play an irritating school girl with a camera. That's what put me off. Lara Croft I can get away with because she is cool.
 
It is asking me to purchase ep 5 even though I bought ep 1 to 5 originally? When I view the dlc folder in steam it says EP5 is "not installed" and verifying the local data doesnt make it download the episode :(

any ideas?
