One of my best mates has dropped a bombshell today saying he's moving to surrey, tomorrow.

I took it badly. Im totally devastated. He is my clubbing buddy and a great friend.

A few of my mates have dropped hints they are also going e.g. Uni, work etc.

Im scared im going to be left on my own losing my closest friends. Im single and feel there is now chance of it changing when im down in the dumps.

Anyone been in this position before?

How do I prevent these kind of events worrying me and making me unhappy?
 
Dude. I'm 24, single, most of my mates are married and my best mate went to uni 2 years ago so i know where you coming from but at the end of the day they are only a phone call away. It's not the same i know but you will be fine.

Try making at least 1 new friend and a host of new people will be open to your company. Unfortunatley life moves on with or without you and you have to decide if you want to go with it. I'm in a bit of a rut at the mo. Just bored every night sitting in but i know that come the weekend, i can go out with that 1 new friend i have made and i'm getting to know more people every week.

Bit of a sudden shock for you though i guess!:)
