Does it not get on your nervus after awhile really? I find my pc case's led getting on my nervus even lol.
Yeah def does get on your nerves after awhile, the novelty does wear off.. its not something you turn all on everytime you wanna listen to a tune

. Its just nice to have the kit for family parties and when got your mates over, adds to the whole atmosphere.
I did have a look on ebay a while ago but someone told me the cheap ones would be out of sync with music because they use servos instead of something else to move the mirrors?
Yeah the cheaper ones do only have servos inside, they are quite noisey but for home use I find the one i have not bad.. Compared to the big boys the movement is slow and not very smooth.
basmic, I never did claim these were professional lights. Its all about just having a laugh in the home to improve the atmosphere of a house party, and to have a laugh in your room to some tunes on a budget.. hardly anything chavy about it. The attiude of some people here really does leave me gob smacked... I could say how i've seen and handled quite a fair bit of professional equipment from where my dad works (where the BBC hire all the gear you see on the sets of strickly come dancing, nevermind the buzzcocks, John Ross etc)... anyway. I don't claim to know everything as some do out here.. I just enjoy having alittle light show to go with some music when i'm mixing.
The life on the lasers are not bad at all into the 10,000s of hours. Depends on the source of the laser though.. the lamp based lighting seen in scanners and rollers can vary depending on the type of lamp used, if it be a halogen, arc lamp. Arc lamps are expensive compared to standard but last longer
