Is it possible to move my entire photo library in Lightroom to another hard drive? Currently all the pictures are in "My Pictures" and I have a backup of that folder on an external HDD. I'm running out of space on c:/ and want to move it all to another partition. Possible? Problems?

move them to the new partition then re-import?

You can move them then when you fire up Lightroom the folder where the pictures were will show red, just click it and it will ask to locate folder, point it to the new location and it should carry on like nothing happened.

I think.

You can drag and drop directories.

So, create a directory on D: and import a photo from it. This directory will then show up in Lightroom.

Then, in Lightroom navigator pick up drag & drop the directories from C: to the folder in D: and Lightroom will ask you if moving from one disk to another is ok.

The other method suggest by Mint_Sauce works fine, but if you have hundreds of directories it can get tedious.
