Lightroom Autoplay with EOS 400D

Hi all,

Wasnt sure whether to post here or in the photography forum, but its a bit more active here.


I have Adobe Lightroom 2.6 64bit running on windows 7. When I insert a CF card, I get the option to import pictures from the card to lightroom. I would also like the option to do this directly from the camera when plugged in via USB.

I have checked the autoplay options for the device but Lightroom is not an option. Does anyone know how to add it?

When you click on the autoplay does it list a few programs or does it automatically choose something for you? if it lists programs you should have an option to open with ......choose lightroom after browsing in your program files

As you see I get the option for mixed content, but its not in the device autoplay list

I don't think Lightroom has the ability to download directly from the camera. To be honest I would take the card out and use a reader, it's far easier and doesn't drain the camera battery.

Its got import from device within lightroom itself
