Typing from the new PC. Couple things I need to change on the build:

1. The 24-pin PSU cable was too short, so currently using a white extension which I need to change for a black one.
2. The 2 included fans are 3-pin, so need to replace these with PWM. Currently the are spinning way too fast for desktop use. I'm thinking of picking up either some Noctua Redux or Be Quiet silent wings. Any suggestions? 120mm PWM.
3. Connected via HDMI, I presume DP is better?

MSI fan controller is naff, hated it . rather use a seperate fan controller, even with pwm - cant get better control of fan curves like asus/gigabyte.

massive fan of silent wings! run 9 of them on my Aorus x470 7 board , all set to 80% constant and silent , these are high speed versions too!

The Asrock fan controller is pretty average, as long as I can set a custom curve based on CPU temp I should be OK. I'll probably just do it in the BIOS.

The Noctua Chromax will be here today, looking forward to swapping out these 2 exhaust fans that are constantly running at 1300RPM.

I wasn't keen on using the fan splitter that comes off the Kraken, it relies on using CAM which I'm not a fan of for setting fan curves.

Chromax fans are in, the case is now whisper quiet, thank god :D

I may need to adjust it the rear fan because the Noctua cables are pretty chunky and hard to tuck away.

Also added an RGB strip I had from an old build to bring in a little more light.

The GPU is really good, running a stable 2050Mhz (sometimes hits 2085) core and 7000Mhz memory, at 72 degrees.

Already running XMP profile on the memory, I may look at OCing the CPU next.

The annoying thing about the Asrock fan control software is no custom profiles to allow switching. Any recommendations for an alternative software?

All done!

So despite the H200 not supporting officially a 280mm AIO or a 280mm GPU with a rad, both are in and working perfectly.

That looks so good. I like the tubing out of the way at the top, and shaped so that the top fan can still pull unobstructed.

Have you tried the CAM software as an alternative to ASRock's for fan control?

So the Pump has a 4 fan splitter coming off of it. I presume that these can work with PWM? The pump itself only connects via 3-pin to the MB. I initially did have it setup to run through CAM for the 2 intake fans but wasn't sure how accurate it was reporting the fan speed.

Going to return the Dell 1440p monitor for a 27" LG 4k monitor, mainly because I want to use scaling and get better text display. This will mean I will have to play games using 1440p res on a 4k which I've heard is fine.

I bought the monitor from a competitor and I'm within 14 days, does anyone know what my options would be?

Edit:

Just spotted 2 stuck pixels so that will give me a clear RMA route.

Ordered the LG 650 for delivery tomorrow, the Dell goes back on Monday. Also ordered 2 x Noctua NF-P14s redux-1500 PWM to use as intake/push fans on the rad.

I'll give it some thought. I still think the D15S would look really good, albeit the RAM will be covered.

The 2 Noctua fans I bought were high static pressure fans to go on the rad, not sure if these should be swapped for a different fan if I don't have a rad on the intake.

just leave them in :)

Good to know.

Annoyingly the noise has stopped now. This makes me quite nervous about an RMA because if they get the unit and test it and no issue I cannot prove it, despite the video. Intermittent issues are frustrating, but the fact is this unit has too much air it in.
