Lightweight Linux Browser?

I've managed, after much messing about, to get DSL onto an old laptop I have (P233MMX, TFT Screen, 32Meg RAM, No CD, Floppy, PXE or USB Boot :)) I really want to use it for a basic browsing/email machine, but the default browser built into DSL seems to be based on Mosaic 1.0 :)

Are there any half decent but lightweight browsers for Linux? I think Bloaty McFirefox would send the whole thing grinding to a halt, unless anyone can tell me different?
 
Dillo.. I've actually just noticed it comes with FireFox too.. it's a bit slow to startup, and flash doesn't want to work, but it's actually not too bad.

Not sure how it will fare with an email client open too though :)

The only hardware problems I'm having now are no sound, and the fact that I can seem to config X to work with a USB mouse, or to work with the trackpoint, but not both, which is a bit irritating.

Quite impressed I got it working at all though to be honest :p
 
If you decide Ff is too big and you don't mind proprietary software, you might want to have a go with Opera. It's a reputation for running nicely on low-spec machines such as cell phones and the like. :)

I've just tried Opera and it craaaawled compared to FF.. I guess they've done a decent job of stripping FF down a bit. I'm really rather impressed with DSL.

All I need now is a cheap PCMCIA or USB wireless thing that will work out of the box.. any suggestions?
