Lily Allen admits to dealing drugs

I dont know why you lot bitch about her so much :confused:

She's by far not the worse looking celeb out there for starters, 100 X better than Paris Hilton for for starters.

She's by far not the worse musician out there, 100 X better than the majority of that other crap called 'pop'.

And when she was on Buzzcocks, i thought she seemed fairly down to earth, wity, and actually quite clever.

I'd say if she came across as witty/intelligent, chances are, what with her being in the music industry, her lyrics might actually be good. It also tends to be the case that if you're an idiot, you don't write good music. And if it was interesting why should she "shut up and go away"?
 
I ****ing love Lily Allen.

Admittedly her music is hardly cutting edge, but she's got a great attitude. She's not pretentious in the slightest. She's not afraid to say what she thinks, and she's normally dead on.
 
she has a similar style to the streets, int he way her songs are sung. usually social commentry mixed with down to earth normal reality.

on the drugs thing, who cares? its a part of life it doesnt make her different just becouse she's made a album

It's sad when people make out celebrities as the image of a country. I think England has the potential to have a better image than that of a pop/indie singer, don't you think?
 
I think the whole media bad press thing is a bit ridiculous, really. Take a look at what she actually says:

She's clearly making a light-hearted comment (and one which is quite funny, I think!), and it's blown up into LILY ALLEN ADMITS TO BEING A DRUG DEALER. Uh, no. What she said was that she sold drugs one time, in Ibiza, and she stopped doing it after that. The tabloids are just so desperate for a good story that they'll go to these ridiculous lengths to paint a nasty portrait of someone that they don't like.

So I challenge you, everyone who thinks that she's worthless or that she should "shut up and go away" - why? You can call her a 'chav' all you like, but that doesn't change the fact that she's not one. You don't get a chart album without working damn hard, doubly so when it's actually got your own songs on it, and triply so when you don't have a mainstream sound. So what's wrong with her?
