Im using a Linksys WRT54GL router (Tomato Firmware) for my home network, which has connected to it

WIRED
The main PC
Xbox 360
Sister PC downstairs
Brothers xbox 1 downstairs

WIRELESS
PS3
Wii

With so many connections on the network is there a program i can use that would let me limit/cap the bandwidth each one of these devices use's, via there IP address maybe?. Im using Vista 64 by the way

I dont know about tomato, but you might want to investigate traffic shaping, you may have to build your own rooter to do this.

its a method of prioritising some traffic over others, so when you on bittorrent you can still game and its all ok.

EDIT: Quick Goggle shows there is support for traffic shaping, but i will let somebody who knows about this firmware confirm that

Ah ok, thanks for the input, can anyone chime in here and explain how this works with the tomato firmware?

Yeah found that, still confuses the hell out of me. I found a program called, WRT54 Script Generator by a guy called Robert "Robson" Mytkowski. Which seems to be very straight forward, that said i havent managed to get it to limited the connection to the PC downstairs yet!
