So far ive overclocked my e6300 so far (check sig) and ive tried goin above but no matter how mch i increase the vcore or nb voltage it just wont boot.

ive even gone up to +0.2 (1.5v) vcore and 1.4 nb and nothing!

please someone tell me whats stopping me!

Have you tried lowering the multiplier to x6 to see if it will go over 425mhz?

425mhz is probably your chips FSB wall then. Not nice, but it happens.

What speed is your memory running at?

i was even thinking of getting a new board but it dosnt really seem like a cost worthy thing to do, especially since i was fine back when it was only at 2.6GHz. But as a like a challenge im gunna keep trying.

Im having a go at overclocking my mem then goin back to the cpu and see how it is then.
