film was good series based on a cop show however.... going to be izombie 2.0 and nothing new just a rehash of something done a billion times with an interesting sub plot that never becomes anything more than that.

if you watched forever and izombie you likely already watched this.

sense8 however looks to be something new and different daring to go against the trend

Just watched the pilot and all I can say is it feels wrong. It's got all the elements of what made the movie epic but seems to fall flat of living up to its counterpart :(. Maybe I'm being too harsh as I loved the movie and I'm expecting too much from a series.

Fingers crossed the 2nd episode brings home the goods :D.

Remember that beyond the pitch/pilot this is most likely just another cop+magic sidekick solving crime of the week procedural.

That said, the pilot was shot way more 'movie style' than I expected. They spent money on Bradley, they had some slo-mo's, some graphic overlays, it looked like it had good, healthy budget. Then the whole ending crashed for me.
Synopsis: Body parts extortionist break chain of custody and illegally or inappropriately obtain evidence for FBI's unsolved crimes in exchange for drugs.

I sincerely hope this doesn't follow the same suit of phyc/forever/etc :( however the pilot makes me suspect you're right :(.

I quite liked the way it was filmed it was definitly more movie than series. Along with a few references to the movie it was nicely done just lacking any substance.

I must admit I do not like the female FBI actor. Something about her irritates me.

I imagine I'm dreaming to expect Bradly to play much of a main role in this.

Bradley is apparently scheduled to reoccur in at least 4 episodes out of whatever was signed off so far. Him producing might be the reason.
